Hi everyone! I am hoping everyone is doing well through this unprecedented time! I have been trying to get outside each day to take in some nice nature walks or runs, when the sun is shining is does make everything seem better. Yesterday, the rain had me down for a bit so last night tackled a painting project I had been putting off, now to organize closets! Each Friday as you know we are sending home some suggested activities students could be working on to help the time go by and to keep them engaged and connected to their learning. I have loved seeing their video responses to Front Desk on the flipgrids I have posted in Google Classroom. I do respond back to each post so students can go in to each and see my response usually within 24 hours. Also, I have really enjoyed reading journal entries students are posting in their online journal. For those students that are using their written journal - that's great! Just know if you would like to have me respond to anything, just shoot me a picture of their journal so I can read it, or send me an email and I will most certainly respond. I am also going to post a weekly flipgrid check-in so students can all tell me what they have been up to! I have loved seeing the pictures shared of the figurative language projects many students have been working on! Please let me know if any questions come up - I am here to help!!! I miss everyone! Keep in touch! xo Miss Reilly

Happy Friday!
Although a little early - HAPPY ST PATRICK's Day everyone! To me, St. Patrick's Day is a symbol of springtime arriving and by the weather we have had lately, fingers crossed that it has indeed! We started division with fractions this week, our focus being whole number divided by unit fractions and unit fractions divided by whole numbers. We spent a good deal of time working to model these types of problems and to come up with word problems to go along with our models. Next week we will look at unit fractions divided by unit fractions. Great work so far! Keep it up! In Reading, our focus this week has been on figurative language. While learning about similes, metaphors, idioms, personification, onomatopoeia, alliteration, hyperbole and proverbs, we have been trying to identify any we come across in our read alouds as well as our independent reading. Next week is IDIOM week, one of my favorite week's of the year! Students are working on an idiom project and a figurative language poster. The idiom project will be done at school and at home with students coming in next Friday, March 20th, either dressed as their chosen idiom or with props to show the literal meaning of their idiom. This is always tons of fun and I cannot wait to see their creativity! The figurative language poster will be also be an in and out of school project where students will find and illustrate examples of the different types of figurative language we have learned about. We are now reading Front Desk, by Kelly Yang. It is a wonderful story about Chinese immigrants who move to America and how a young girl overcomes many obstacles to help her family and other immigrants as they look to succeed in America. We are also reading Number the Stars by Lois Lowry and making connections to what we learned about the Nazi Occupation in our reading of The War That Saved My Life. Speaking of The War That Saved My Life, student game board projects were amazing! So proud of their ability to work with their partners to come up with rules, questions and to design a game board their classmates could enjoy! Our March Madness Picture book month continues as well! This week we read traditions of the Cherokee Indians, about medieval castles and about being confident in our uniqueness! Such great books with many great messages! In Science, we have been working on identifying the rock types as we review Weathering, Erosion and Deposition. We are finishing up our look at the Earth's systems (Atmosphere, Biosphere, Geosphere and Hydrosphere). In Social Studies, students are working in group to present on one aspect of Colonial Williamsburg. Their ability to work with others to assign responsibilities and work together towards a common goal has been wonderful to see! They have grown so much in this area this year! I am looking forward to really digging in to the American Revolution - causes and effects over the coming weeks! Keep up the reading at home! Be Well! Maura Happy Friday all! Well, it was nice to have March come in quietly with lots of sunshine and great weather! Don't forget to turn your clocks ahead Saturday night/Sunday morning, our days start staying brighter next week!! In Math, we have been very busy working with multiplication of fractions. Students have the computation down pretty solid, the challenge for them are the models when answering word problems. The model we draw for 1/2 of 6 (1/2 x 6) is different from the model that we draw for 6 groups of 1/2 (6 x 1/2) - see the example below: We will be continuing to work on word problems with fractions to build the conceptual understanding of the differences shown in this example and others! They are doing a great job converting mixed numbers to improper and improper to mixed which has really helped as they multiply mixed numbers like 4 1/2 x 2 3/4! Keep up the great work! Next week we will move into dividing whole numbers by unit fractions and unit fractions by whole numbers!
In Reading this week we kicked off March Madness. During this month we are reading a picture book a day (sometimes two!) from diverse authors and cultures. Be sure to ask your child about the books pictured in our photo gallery! We learned about Nelson Mandela, the children marching in Alabama, kite flying contests in Pakistan, a recycled orchestra in Paraguay as well as a book about the good that is present in all communities. Students have booklets where they are recording the titles, authors, and story elements for each book. It's great to see their amazement as they learn about traditions and activities in other cultures, as well as learn more about the history of change in our country. Students are also working on a final project for their literature discussion groups for The War That Saved My Life. They are working with their partner or small groups to create a game board for this book. They are creating questions and answers about the many events and characters to be used as part of their game. They are also creating the game board itself along with the object of the game and rules. These will be worked on in school and some work will be done at home. All game boards need to be done by Friday, March 13th, at which time students will swap off their games and play one from another group. Lots of great teamwork and creativity going on! In writing, we are continuing our work on our opinion writing! Students have been doing a great job gathering evidence both for and against their argument. We are organizing our thoughts and beginning our drafts. Next week we will focus on our transitions as well as how we can use quotes from experts to support our arguments. Looking forward to more great work from everyone! Lots of lively discussions about zoos, recess, testing and school uniforms! In Science, we are looking at the Earth's 4 systems: Atmosphere, Biosphere, Hydrosphere and Geosphere. Students did a nice job with their diagrams of the water cycle as we dug deeper into our hydrosphere. Lots of connections made to our discussions last week about water on Earth and how 97.5% of our water is salt water! We took a deeper look at our Geosphere by building models of the 3 types of rocks: Igneous, Sedimentary and Metamorphic. Be sure to ask your child how igneous rocks are formed, or perhaps ask them to explain the difference between a sedimentary rock and a metamorphic rock. Great discussions and connections continue to be made as we went back to our work on how the Earth's landscape can change through fast and slow processes. How does erosion help create sedimentary rocks? Good stuff!! We had a lot of fun at Literacy Night last night! Our classroom read The Giving Tree and other poems by Shel Silverstein (one of my favorites). Ms. Pagnani read a fun poem about band aids and we created little people to see if we could count the number of bandaids in the poem! Next week will continue digging in. We are going to go through the practice tutorial for the MCAS, just to remind students and hopefully put them at ease that the tools remain the same as last year! We have lots to accomplish, but I have been proud of their focus this past week. They are a chatty crew overall, but when focused - wow!! Amazing results! Thank you for all of the support from home! Enjoy the weekend!! Maura
I hope everyone enjoyed a relaxing and fun winter break! It was great to hear so many great stories of the adventures many went on! We hit the ground running on Monday as we dug right in where we left off!
We had our Peer Leaders from Norwell High School spend their last visit with us. We role played some different situations and discussed how to be assertive with our communication when someone is not treating us the way they should. The importance of letting know how their actions make us feel was a great lesson for all! We were lucky to have these leaders with us this year! In reading, we have been working with story elements and concentrating on finding the theme of our stories. We read excerpts and discussed that sometimes there can be more than one theme or lesson learned. We are getting ready to kick off our Picture Book March Madness on Monday. For each day of March we will read one picture book and find the story elements (setting, character, plot, conflict and theme). We have lot of books sharing information about different cultures, this was a ton of fun last year and I can't wait to enjoy some new titles with students this year! Students will be keeping a daily log for each title, the log will come home at the end of the month so you can see the many different titles we read and discussed! We all finished up The War That Saved My Life! Many students are requesting to read the sequel which is a great sign! Next week, partners will be working on creating a game to represent the key characters and events from the story and then we will have some time to play each others' games. In Writing, we kicked off our unit on Opinion/Argument Writing. We discussed the question "Should chocolate milk be served in school". Students read articles from both sides of the argument and watched a few videos. We talked about the importance of looking at the source/author of the article in case we notice any bias. Students are now looking at 4 different topics and will choose one to take through the full process of stating a claim and backing it up with good evidence. Students now realize the importance of not just arguing their side, but looking at the counterargument as well! I can't wait to really dig in next week! Mrs. Fuller, our literacy coordinator, is helping to guide us through this unit. We always love when her expertise is shared with our classroom of writers! In Science, we have looked at the sources of water on Earth and this week we focused on the water cycle. Students have made connections back to our unit on Matter as we talked about water changing from a liquid to a vapor during the evaporation process! We also finished up our discussion about how our landscape can change through fast (ex, earthquake, mudslide) or slow processes (wind erosion, waves, water erosion). Looking forward to digging in to our discussions even more next week! In Math, this week we were all about multiplying fractions and learning how to draw models of the different types of equations. Students learned how to recognize the difference of a whole x fraction compared to a fraction x whole and also did some work with fraction x fraction models! Great job so far! Next week we will be getting into multiplying mixed numbers! Proud of their effort so far! In Social Studies, we are circling back to some work we did earlier this year on the original colonies. Students will be working on a short 90sec commercial to entice new settlers to choose their region. We will be creating and recording our "commercials" to state the case for either the New England, Middle or Southern Colonies. We will be using some new technology, and I am looking forward to what they come up with! Links will be shared on our webpage once final projects are complete! Next Thursday is our Literacy Night from 6:30-7:45! I am hoping to see many students enjoying different read alouds, bringing in gently used books to exchange for new material and participating in the raffles! Please mark your calendars for a fun night! On Monday, during our Community Meeting, we will, as a community be celebrating Read Aloud Day (Dr. Seuss's birthday) by all reading together for 10 minutes. Classroom doors have been decorated, so be sure to take a walk through the school - lots of creativity! On Thursday, students may opt to dress as their favorite storybook character (they can wear to Literacy Night as well!) Have a wonderful weekend! I cannot believe MARCH is here!! Cheers! Maura Important Dates to Remember:
Good afternoon!
We certainly have lots to celebrate tomorrow! A few weeks back we hit the reset button and have been working hard to work BETTER TOGETHER! Students showed that when they put their mind to it, they are capable of great things! We met our goal and will celebrate with a cozy mix-it-up day tomorrow. We will be watching Wonder, reminding ourselves as we move into February vacation week that is always important to be kinder than necessary! It is my hope after they all shine so brightly and dare greatly tonight at the Variety Show that they will remember to choose kindness whenever possible! I am challenging them tomorrow to see how many Random Acts of Kindness they can complete over break so we can have a great sharing session when we return! We did a great job on our assessment of adding and subtracting fractions with unlike denominators as well as fraction line plots. Students were challenged by multi-select type questions, but rose to the occasion by taking their time and showing their work! Proud of their efforts! We are starting multiplication and division of fractions, with our initial focus being on multiplying whole numbers by fractions. We will look at models, repeated addition and how we use fractions in word problems. Throughout multiplication and division we will be working hard with improper and mixed fractions! I am excited to dig into these concepts with students! Tonight, their Friday folders came home a day early and they should also have a yellow folder which has their final narrative piece along with all of their drafts. Please be sure to have your child show you their initial draft and explain the many ways they worked hard to make it better! I was really pleased with their progress as they added stronger verbs, more vivid adjectives, better transitions, dialogue and even came up with some creative titles to hook their readers in! After break we will be moving into Opinion Essays. Students will be given a few topics to choose from and then will learn about arguments and counterarguments! I cannot wait! We have been working hard to draw conclusions and make inferences in our reading and today I put together a simulation for our class. We became Norwell CSI and reviewed evidence at a make shift crime scene in Mrs. Burns's office and then interview notes on our 6 suspects. Working in teams, we looked at all of the clues and found the culprit! Miss Marr will be "dealt" with tomorrow! Please be sure to ask your child about this! Tons of fun learning going on! In Science, we built some graphs around the Distribution of Water on Earth. Students were stunned when they realized almost 97.5% of ALL the water on Earth is salt. We then looked at the 2.5% and what the sources were and graphed those as well. We will be looking at conservation and ways we can impact our water usage when we return from break. We will also be digging further into the Water Cylcle and how weather patterns impact all of this! We have so much to cover together this year, so get some rest over break and be ready to hit the ground running! Wishing everyone a restful and healthy break! Maura Important Dates to Remember:
Happy Friday all!
We had such a fantastic week sharing so many wonderful picture books and chapters from favorite novels together. So many of you were able to come in and share your love of reading and we all appreciate it so very much! Be sure to check out the photo gallery as I tried to capture as much as I could! We also finished, Mr. Terupt Falls Again, be sure to ask your child what they thought of the different twists and turns in this book. Who was their favorite character in this sequel? Had it changed from the first book Because of Mr. Terupt? If they did enjoy a different character this time, ask them to explain why! Our focus this week has been on drawing conclusions. Using clues in our texts to infer answers to questions about the setting, problem or events in the short stories we dug into. Students are asked to be thinking about this as they are finishing up The War that Saved My Life. I have been very impressed by the connections they have been making, not only to the characters in this book but to other books and events we have read about this year. GREAT WORK! In Math, this week we dug into Line Plots, specifically ones using fractions! Students did a nice job finding and using efficient strategies to add lots of fractions (finding pairs that add to whole numbers etc). Dividing number lines into fractions is challenging to many, this will be something we continue to work on as we move to multiplication and division after February break. We will explain what we have learned in a flipgrid, which I will share with you next week. We will also take an assessment to show what we know, as well as areas weare still developing! Nice effort by all! In writing, we put the finishing touches on our Narratives. We would like to invite you to our classroom next Thursday, February 13th from 8:30-9:00am to celebrate this accomplishment. Come and let us show you all of our drafts and how we pulled them apart to add dialogue and detail to make them something we are proud of! In Science, we are taking a deeper look at the Earth's systems. We reviewed the layers of the Earth and atmosphere and are now talking about the water cycle and how weather impacts changes to our Earth's surface. Great work so far! I think students are always amazed to hear how little fresh water we have on Earth! We will be able to work on our graphing skills within this Science unit as we graph % of salt vs fresh water and then also graph where we would find fresh water. Lots of great discussions are going on! A reminder that our compliment hearts are due on Monday. Please be sure they come to school signed by your child and in a ziploc bag so we will be ready to distribute on Friday! Friday is also our 100th day of school, which means the 1000th day for 5th graders (K-4 = 180 x 5 years = 900 + 100 this year = 1000!!!). Can you believe it?! We are celebrating with Mix It Up Day ! Our student government reps will be helping to facilitate table discussions with "mixed up tables". We are hoping students will have some great conversations with students they may not know and may realize they have many things in common with these new friends! To celebrate, we will also be wearing mixed up clothes. So get out your stripes, plaids and florals and MIX IT UP! Should be tons of fun! Thank you all for sending in more glue sticks and kleenex, we definitely have had some stuffy noses over the past few months and quickly went through most of our supply! We appreciate your generosity! Have a wonderful weekend! Cheers! Maura Important Dates to Remember:
Happy Friday all!
Starting the week with Connections and learning about the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr was a great way to think about our roles in our community! Today, as a class, we continued this conversation looking at ways we can help build not only our classroom community but our community at Cole and beyond. We tied this lesson to our work discussing bullying and how to be an upstander if they see bullying at all. It is hard to sometimes stand up to bullies, but our discussion was around how not standing up when we know something is wrong is sometimes just a bad as being the bully! Great discussions were had! This week in math we really dug into subtracting fractions with unlike denominators and how we need to "trade" wholes for fractions in order to subtract at times. This is a difficult concept, we used fraction tiles and lots of modeling to help us conceptualize this! We also worked on a fraction escape room! In this escape room, we had to use what we have learned about equivalent fractions, ordering and adding/subtracting fractions to escape! Great teamwork here! We ended the week with independent work on an Exemplar, which is a multi-step word problem that dealt with fractions. Proud of their work in this area! In reading this week, we looked at some test taking strategies. We read an article about fire and then answered some multiple choice questions by going back in the text and finding details to support our answers. We crossed off answers that made no sense in order to limit our possibilities, then used our skills to go back and find facts. We will be continuing with this excerpt next week as we look at an Open Response strategy A.C.E. - Answer, Cite, Explain. Looking forward to some great effort as we learn to back up our answers with evidence from the text! We have also had some fun this week with Mr. Terupt Falls Again. The students are definitely dealing with some middle school issues, which lead to some laughter and giggles, but also had us realizing there are many ways to deal with peer pressure. Mr. Terupt got engaged to Ms. Newbury this week and has assigned a major project to his class - to plan their wedding! Needless to say, we have had lots of laughs and discussion about this! Be sure to ask your child about this book! In Science, I couldn't be any prouder of the effort students showed as they took their computer-based Science assessment on the Earth, Moon and Stars. Some still need to review the difference between waxing (building) and waning (disappearance)of the moon, but overall I was impressed with their analysis of some graphs and interpretation of questions. I printed a blank copy of the test and indicated just the answers your child got wrong. They are in their Friday folders for your review! We are now going to be focused on the Earth's Systems, including the layers of the Earth and atmosphere! In Writing, we looked to add dialogue and learned the proper ways to use quotations in our writing. Students are beefing up their narratives and we hope to get them finalized next week, so we can celebrate before February vacation! As mentioned in my earlier email this week, Wednesday is WORLD READ ALOUD DAY! We are celebrating in Room 15 all week with many parents and other teachers from our building coming in and reading to us! If you would like to participate, please just shoot me an email and we will coordinate a convenient time! Thanks for all you do for our class! Enjoy the weekend! Cheers! Maura Important Dates to Remember:
Happy Friday!
Wow! What a week we had! We came back from our long weekend and dug right back into our hard work! We used flashlights and legos to look at how the position of the sun impacts our shadows. We then took it outside on Wednesday and measured our own shadows at 9, 12:30 and 2:30 to extend this learning! We realized through this work that when the sun rises in the East our shadows are cast to the West and as it sets in the West our shadows cast East. We also noticed our shadows were the shortest at noon when the sun is directly overhead! We are finishing up our work on the Earth, Moon and Stars and will have an assessment next week. Students have been given study guides to help them begin reviewing the important concepts! We will then move on to the layers of the Earth and the Earth's atmosphere! In Math, a challenging week as we looked finding common denominators, so we could add and subtract fractions. Subtraction is definitely challenging us, we used fraction tiles to help model this concept concretely, before moving to paper/pencil. We will be focused on this some more next week and then will be looking at benchmark fractions and some line plots before moving into multiplication and division of fractions! Proud of student effort so far. As students work to find least common multiples to help them when adding and subtracting fact fluency really comes into play ! Keep up the fluency work at home - confidence is key! In reading, I was so happy to see the level of engagement today during our literature circle time. Students are definitely digging in to The War That Saved My Life. Be sure to ask your child about Ada and Jamie and how they think their relationship with Ms. Smith is going. Will Ada learn to ride Butter? Will Jamie go back to Mam? Lots happening and great predictions around the room! We also finished up our work with the Fiction Signposts, this week looking at Memory Moments. Students will now be looking for these signposts as they continue reading for their literature circle discussions! Today we had a few special guests in our class! We had the high school peer leaders in to help us look at goals and how we can set steps to achieve in order to meet our goals. I think the high school students were impressed with some of the goals our class came up with! We look forward to having them back in a few months! We also had the unbelievable opportunity to SKYPE with author Shelly Brown and her daughter Maddie, who was the main character in our recent read aloud Mustaches for Maddie. I can't tell you how impressed I was with the details our class remembered from the book and the questions they asked both Mrs. Brown and Maddie. Their new book Willa and the Whale comes out March 3rd, for those interested you can pre-order on Amazon now. Next week, we will be working with our partners to glow and grow our personal narratives to hopefully put the finishing touches on our work! We will plan a celebration of our writing as soon as this is accomplished! We can't wait to share our stories with you! Friday folders came home with comments today as well as a GREEN permission slip for our field trip to the Museum of Science on Wednesday, February 12th. Also, a reminder if you were going to order any books from Scholastic, I will be processing our class order Monday morning so please be sure to get your orders in. Our class code is QBJCX and you can go to scholastic.com/bookclubs to order! Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! Cheers! Maura Important Dates to Remember:
Happy Friday everyone!
We started this week with a fabulous Community Meeting reminding us of why we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. I hope as we all enjoy our long and restful weekend we can reflect on the many freedoms we have due to people like Dr. King who have been leaders our country to build communities for change! We finished our class read aloud Mustaches for Maddie this week. We all wore mustaches to celebrate Maddie's resilience and her lessons of kindness. We are so excited because the authors have committed to skype with us, hoping to get it on our schedule next week! It will be great to hear more about Maddie and other books they have written! The class has now begun Mr. Terupt Falls Again the sequel to Because of Mr. Terupt. Be sure to ask your child about these books. What do they think about the characters? What lessons are the authors trying to convey? We are also continuing to work on the Fiction Signposts. This week we took a look at "Again and Again". When an author repeats words or phrases we shop stop and ask ourselves "Why does this keep showing up?" "Why is the author trying to stress this?" All students decided to read The War That Saved My Life as their historical fiction book. So we are using this book to dig into the signposts and also work on chapter summaries to get us ready for summer reading for Middle School. I can't wait to hear students discussing this book tomorrow! I love that they are begging to read more. They initially set 4 chapters as the week's goal, but then asked if we could extend to 6, and then some even wanted more! Going forward students will be working with a partner to set their weekly goals for discussion. In this week's Friday folder you will find a book order form as well as the information about ordering yearbooks. There are some FABULOUS books in this month's order. A few I would highlight :Song for a Whale, What was the Berlin Wall? , How Full is Your Bucket?, Inside Out and Back Again, Lousiana's Way Home, Notorious, The Friendship War, Other Words for Home and Terri Libsenson Trio (graphic novel set - dealing with friends, frenemies and feeling left out) to name a few. Orders are due by Friday, January 24th (next Friday). Students have been doing a great job with fractions this week. We are working hard adding and subtracting with like denominators. We have also worked with converting mixed to improper and improper to mixed. Next week our focus will continue to work at adding and subtracting, but we will need to find common denominators to solve next week's problems! In Science, we dug into what causes the amount of daylight in different parts of the world as well as how are shadows change throughout the day. The Earth's rotation and tilt on its axis really impact our lives. We talked about how different our lives would be if we lived along the Equator where their days always have about 12 hours. They don't see the longer days in the summer as we do, ask your child about this! We are working hard on our Narratives, hoping to finish up on the next week or so, and then we will celebrate our hard work with another writing celebration! Stay tuned for details! As a class, we have been overly chatty since we returned from break, and we needed to have a class meeting to hit the "reset" button. We are working on a class goal of "WORKING TOGETHER". Our focus is on being kind to EVERY student in our class, realizing that we all have different strengths and weaknesses, and we need to celebrate our differences rather than use them to separate us. We discussed we don't have to always LOVE all of our classmates, but we do need to like and respect each other. I will be holding them very accountable for this as we seek to refocus for a strong end to the school year! They are great kids and need to celebrate each other more instead of teasing, which sometimes has led to hurt feelings! Thank you as always for all of the support from home! Have a wonderful, restful long weekend! Maura Important Dates to Remember
Good afternoon!
Well yesterday we definitely got that burst of winter to remind us we are in New England, but it may feel like Spring this weekend! Hoping we can all enjoy it a bit! Room 15 dove into Fractions this week. We started by just exploring playing a fraction cookie game using pattern blocks and the explored some more using fraction bars as we started to look at equivalent fractions. NCTM (National Council of Teachers of Mathematics) has some great interactive games students can play to work on matching fractions to a diagram, as well as games to find equivalent fractions. We spent some time on on the NCTM Illumination site playing concentration This is a game they can play by themselves or can play against you! We also have a game of "UNO" using equivalent fractions and I am happy to send it home over the weekend or during the week for a night if you'd like to play with your child. We ended the week looking at factors & multiples, finding the Least Common Multiple and Greatest Common Factor to get ready to start adding fractions next week! Great effort so far! We continue to work on our Fiction Sign Posts looking at Tough Questions and Words of the Wiser this week. Sometimes in a story a character who is probably older and wiser takes the main character aside and gives them serious advice. When this happens we should stop and ask "What's the life lesson, and how might it affect the character?" Students had some great discussions about these questions. We used an excerpt from Riding Freedom one of our books from our book tasting to dig into this strategy. Speaking of our book tasting, our Starbooks Cafe was a big hit. I have an awful lot of excited kiddos ready and raring to get going on historical fiction next week! I know I cannot wait for the discussions as they learn more about the interesting characters in their books. Once again, thank you for the Amazon card which allowed me to purchase enough of The War The Saved My Life, so that all students who wrote this was their first choice, the book they "had to read", will be able to begin on Monday! Happy Readers = Happy Teacher ! :) In Writing, we started looking at different types of conclusions that can be used for narratives. We are using examples from different picture books to give us some ideas about how we might make our endings more exciting! I can't wait to see how students revise this important part of their stories! In Science, we continue to work on individual google slide presentations on a planet and dug into gravity this week. We also started to look at the patterns of day and night and how the Sun and Moon impact these patterns! Students are doing a better job asking questions and making connections to what they already know. Looking forward to another full week next week! Have a wonderful weekend!
